Gilles
was born august 13th 1953
From 1972 to 1973 he studied at the Art schools (Beaux arts) of Paris and Avignon
1975, he starts travelling around the world in Europe and Africa.
Then he travelled to the Antilles Islands . Those islands had the greatest influence
on his workBut the main influence.
His look on the world touches us with its gread poetry and serenity
Painter of emotions loving his art with passion, he shows us britanny full of
happiness like through children's eyes and on an other hand paints sommetimes
almost abstract pictures,
He exhibited in Guadeloupe, then in Britanny (Brest, Pontivy, Roscoff) Paris,
Lausanne, Strasbourg, Versailles and at the Casttle of Walsort in Belgium.
Gilles takes part to artfairs and exhibitions in France and abroad all the year
round. He exhibits permanently at the Galerie Artis in Pont-Aven
